I noticed the new feature to let you view images after testing a page and was wondering if there is any way to configure the desktop (hosted) version of pagetest to pull text or images from a page, after completing a test, into an html or text file...

It would be possible since it keeps them all in memory, it just doesn't do it right now. I've been debating having a "save all page content" feature which would also make it easier to clone a site.

That would be very helpful if you developed that feature :-). Should I submit it as a feature request in the Feature Suggestions topic?

I just created a ticket for it: http://dev.webpagetest.org/pagetest/ticket/38
I'll get it into the next release (hopefully within the next week but depends on how busy things are).
