Gtmetrix Performance Report

RE: Gtmetrix Performance Report
Don't focus on the scores (page speed or yslow). They can give you an idea on how individual resources are optimized but won't tell you anything about the actual performance.

My favorite view when looking for performance issues is the combined filmstrip/waterfall: http://www.webpagetest.org/video/compare...Z9-r:2-c:0

It looks like whatever custom code you are running to generate css in http://bootiquefitness.com/?custom-css=1...=6&csrev=9 is taking a really long time. If you can generate the css ahead of time and cache it to disk as a static file and serve directly you will be in a LOT better shape.

At least with chrome, the external css files are what is blocking the page from rendering (and preventing it from loading the images).

The fonts are probably the other main pain point and will block text rendering but there is no really good way to load custom fonts quickly. The fonts themselves will not start loading until the css has been applied and styles resolved to discover what fonts it actually needs to load.
