IE Conditional .css blocking
http://webforscher.wordpress.com/2010/05...down-ie-8/

I've just tried this out (note it's "Update 2" rather than "Update".)

I put:

<!--[if IE]><![endif]-->

just before the first, vanilla stylesheet href.

Seems to work a charm, parallelisation has increased - just like the pics in the blog.

Saved me half a second at a stroke.

Thought I'd share Markus and Stoyan's good work.

RE: IE Conditional .css blocking
The conditional load can be handy, but as most of the traffic is on IE, one should see if they can avoid loading additional css for IE.
